Mount Moriah Apostolic Church in Toronto, Ontario is a Christian congregation serving the Toronto community and seeking, engaging, and encouraging others through a life-changing Christian journey. We seek to be a loving, friendly community that worships God, and serves others. We place a high priority on teaching from the Bible and following the example of Jesus. Our vision is to impact and renew Toronto and beyond with the transforming message of Jesus Christ through words and actions. Come as you are – we’d love to get to know you.
We believe in the existence of only one God (Monotheism) that created the world. He is all-powerful, sovereign and intervenes in the affairs of the world.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. (Gen 1:1). Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord (Deuteronomy 6:4). In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John1:1)
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4-6). And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24:46-49)
ABOUT THE SECOND COMING OF THE LORD
We believe with full assurance that Jesus Christ is coming again.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)
And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:12-14)
Our mission is to declare the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his second coming while promoting empowerment and harmony among the members of the body of Christ
